2017 Kawasaki Z900
The new Kawasaki Z900 has been refreshed for 2017. The features like assist and slipper clutch that makes pulling the clutch
and controlling the engine braking a child’s play.
Housing a new 948 cc inline-four cylinder 16-valve
DOHC engine based on the Kawasaki Z1000’s, the Z900 packs a brutally healthy
125 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm at 7,700 rpm.
This 210 kg street-fighter features 41 mm inverted
fork with preload and rebound adjustment, horizontally-mounted monoshock at the
rear with preload and rebound adjustment, Dual 300 mm disc brake upfront with
four-piston caliper on each, 250 mm rear disc with single-piston caliper,
Nissin ABS, and a 17-litre fuel tank.
Upside down forks adjustable for rebound and preload
at the front, and a horizontally-mounted shock with rebound and preload
adjustability at the rear.
The overall dimensions of Kawasaki Z900 are 2,070 mm
in length, 820 mm in width, 1,065 mm in height, 1,450 mm of wheelbase, and 795
mm of seat height. The model will be sold in the usual colour themes such as
Candy Lime Green with Metallic Spark Black, Pearl Mystic Gray with Metallic
Flat Spark Black, Metallic Flat Spark Black with Metallic Spark Black, and
Candy Plasma Blue with Metallic Graphite Gray (Special Edition).
