2018 Triumph Speed Twin
The British
brand does not stop and is already testing a future model of its neo-retro
range, according to a spy photos captured by BMH called Triumph Speed Twin.
It
is an aggressive naked based on the Triumph T120, with its 1,200 cc
twin-cylinder engine in parallel. The Triumph Speed Twin, a name recovered
from the past, would be a classic base with more modern touches such as the
charismatic double lighthouse of the old Speed Triple family and the driving
position of the accessible Street Triple with the Thruxton base and engine.
In this 'mule' test where you will be testing
different components curiously we see different wheels. While the front wheel
is a Street Triple, the rear wheel with spoke wheels is a Thruxton (both with
Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires). The use of armrests would be another
distinguishing feature of this Triumph Speed Twin.
It is clear that this is still a rather
primitive unit and away from the production line with many temporary parts and
with different possibilities of handlebar positions or footpegs, but we are
sure that we will have more news of the Speed Twin than Could see the light
in 2018.
