All New Subaru Justy
Fuji Heavy Industries has released its all-new Subaru Justy on November 21. The family-oriented Justy is an OEM model supplied and developed by
Daihatsu. It has also been released by Toyota as the Roomy and Tank.
Based on its “BIG Pleasure Compact” concept, the
Justy offers ease-of-driving and a comfortable interior as well as a turning
radius of 4.6 m, resulting in five-number vehicle dimensions.
The engine lineup features a 1.0-liter NA unit and a
new 1.0-liter turbo system. The Justy comes standardized with idling stop
function on all models and offers a low fuel consumption of 24.6 km/l (for
the 1.0-liter NA engine equipped 2WD model).
Safety wise, Subaru has standardized
its Smart Assist II technology on all Justy models for additional driving
assistance, and has redesigned its body, which has been tested for protection
at 64 km/h in a frontal offset crash test. It offers enhanced safety as it was
built to reduce any impact to the head and lower body of pedestrians, in case
of an accident.
The Subaru Justy is priced from 1,528,200 yen to
2,138,400 yen.
