Brixton BX 125
If the brand Brixton Motorcycles is still
confidential, it may be only a matter of time because the group that
distributes it is none other than KSR. Today, KSR is poised to launch the first model of motorcycle (Chinese
production) under the brand Brixton Motorcycles, the BX 125, which had already
been presented in 2016 at the Milan show.
The vintage look of this BX is part of the current
trend, to which all manufacturers almost give in. Brixton arrives on territory
where Mash reigned unchallenged until last year, but where Orcal and Bullit
have since come to hunt.
This bike has a retro look but also displays its modernity: injection, combined
brake with front / rear discs, daytime running lights and LED indicators,
digital dashboard.
The BX 125 relies on a 124 cc
air-cooled single-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 11.3 hp at
8000 rpm with good torque from 11.4 Nm to 6500 Rpm. Given its cylinder
capacity, the Brixton is therefore accessible to holders of license B (+ the 7H
of possible training) as to the holders of the license A1 as of 16 years. A
motorcycle on wheels 18 in front and 17 in rear. The short wheelbase of 1325 mm
ensures a formidable maneuverability in the city.
Accessible this Brixton BX 125 since it weighs only
123 kg dry and costs only € 2,399.
Now, remains to be seen what it is worth in real life.
Coffee Racer and Scrambler versions were also
exhibited in Cologne during Intermot 2016. These models are made up of the
customization accessories that will be offered. 500 cc models would be in
preparation according to the manufacturer. The BX 125 are
about to be delivered by the end of 2016 in France. Three colors are available:
black, gray or green.
