Volvo C90 Convertible (render)
The Swedish automaker has upped its game
with advanced new technologies and luxurious features.
So has Volvo's high-end models shape up as serious
alternatives to offerings from Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW, what would a
luxurious droptop from the marque look like? Theophilus
Chin has created what he dubs the C70, a cabriolet version of the S90, though
you could call it the C90.
While there's no indication that such a model is on
the cards, it could shape up to be the perfect rival to the upcoming 2017
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet.
The design of the S90/V90 siblings
seem to work quite well as a cabriolet, particularly from the front end. The
rear, in particular the taillights, are still opinion-splitting, but overall,
it's still quite an intriguing prospect.
