Honda Monkey Concept

Honda Monkey Concept is a retro-style pocket scrambler showcased at the 2016 Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS).

In a similar design to the Z50 Monkey where its frame, engine wheels and brakes are concerned, Honda Monkey Concept receives upside down front suspension from the MSX125.

Exclusive to Honda Monkey Concept is its conventional styling, twin side rear suspension and tall exhausts. It also gets tube swing arm, different from the box section swing arm seen on the MSX125 while at the rear, headlights in a rounded design, tail lamps and blinkers are also evident.

Engine specifications on board Honda Monkey Concept is a 124.9 cc, air-cooled, four stroke engine with PGM fuel injected. This engine offers 9.65 hp peak power at 7,000 rpm and 10.9 Nm peak torque at 5,500 rpm mated to a 4 speed gearbox sending power to rear wheels.

The concept sports 12” wheels while stopping power is via 220 mm disc brakes in the front and 190 mm disc at the rear with hydraulic dual piston calipers.
