Honda X-Adv
The
new Honda X-Adv adventure crossover scooter is set to enter production in the
coming weeks. The production-ready Honda X-Adv adventure scooter has made its
global debut at the ongoing 2016 EICMA.
X-Adv is ideally suited for urban commuting. It
boasts of a sense of adventure while performance, practicality and comfort.
On-board features include a long swingarm, USD forks, wired wheels and ABS
along with heated grips, high fenders and long travel suspension to manage
challenging road conditions.
High riding position for better visibility, under
seat storage space and 5 position adjustable screens for varying degrees of
wind protection are also set to be seen on the new Honda X-Adv adventure
moto-scooter.
Honda X-Adv is a crossover which is based on the
Honda NC750X and Integra. It is powered by a 745 cc parallel twin engine
offering 54 PS power and 68 Nm torque with a DCT automatic transmission. It
gets spoked wheels, 17 inch in front and 15 inch at rear. Dry weight stands at
238 kg, seat height at 820 mm, storage space 21 liters, fuel tank 13 liters, 41
mm USD forks in the front with 153.5 mm of travel and adjustable rear shock
with 150 mm of travel.
Equipment list includes 5-way adjustable screen,
Smart Key system (no need to use key to start ignition), Rally-style instrument
display, all-LED lighting, tapered aluminium handlebar. Honda claims it
delivers a fuel efficiency of 79 mpg.
Honda
X-Adv will first be launched in Europe and North America.
