Iveco Daily Elevitta
Iveco presents the Daily Elevittá for the transport
of people with disabilities. According to the mark, the Brazilian Law on the
Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (No. 13,146) is designed to "ensure
and promote, under conditions of equality, the exercise of fundamental rights
and freedoms for persons with disabilities, with a view to their inclusion
Social and citizenship. The focus of Daily Elevittá is to provide
accessibility for people with reduced mobility. After all, everyone has the
right to come and go.
The model was developed and manufactured in Iveco's
industrial complex in Sete Lagoas (MG), under the platform of the Iveco Daily
50C17, the model was designed to offer the passenger with reduced mobility the
same conditions that the other occupants enjoy on board the vehicle .
According to Iveco, comfort, safety and
accessibility were the basis of the project that culminated in the birth of the
Daily Elevittá. The mobile armchair device, specially developed for the Daily
line, by the company Elevittá, positions the armchair on the outside of the
vehicle, which allows the passenger to board and disembark sitting in his seat.
The Daily Elevittá is equipped with the FPT
Industrial F1C engine. The 3.0 16V has four-cylinder in-line, dual stage turbo,
Common Rail type electronic injection and develops 170 hp maximum power at
3,500 rpm and is available with two maximum torque variations: 400 Nm at 1,250
rpm and 450 Nm at 1,400 rpm, the latter in the micro-buses.
The model comes standard with dual air conditioning
for driver and passengers, on-board computer, autopilot, ABS (antilock braking
system) + EBD (electronic brake distribution); CD player/MP3 with speakers,
dual front airbag, electric trio and high ceiling.
