Lifan X60

Without making any noise, Lifan resumed its operations in the country, optimized spare parts and started assembling its vehicles in Uruguay. The fruit of this work is in the good acceptance of the X60 SUV, which now gains significant changes in style, interior and another asset, the automatic CVT.

The model brings aesthetic changes with the new brand identity. The front grille is new and has a prominent horizontal bar, with Lifan inscription in bold letters, plus the new bumper for more current lines. There are LED daytime running lights, while the auxiliary fog lights go up to the intermediate area and the new headlights preserve the shape, but with renewed internal elements.

At the rear, the tail lights change slightly and the bumper gets a new finish on the bottom, with two exhaust outlets (a decorative one) and an applique in the central part. The exterior mirrors are new, more traditional with integrated lights and arrows, as well as the alloy wheels, which receive a new design with diamond face and interior painted black.

Inside, evolution is great. The panel gains a new drawing that no longer refers to another model. The unit we looked at was equipped with leather-lined seats as well as the top of the panel that also received the finish with apparent seams.

In the central region, there are new air-conditioning command buttons (the temperature and velocity indica- tor is displayed on the center screen) and new rectangular air vents with chrome finish. At the bottom are the heating buttons of the front seats, cigarette lighter, 12V socket, USB / AUX input and ESP deactivation button. According to Luiz Zanini, director of Lifan Motors do Brasil, the model that will reach our market will be equipped with stability control, but the heating of the banks is not in the plans.

Under the bonnet, the novelty is due to the automatic transmission CVT that has six shifted gears and Sport option associated with the engine 1.8 16V VVT gasoline 128 hp (at 6,000 rpm) and 16.8 kgfm of torque.

With the new option of the automatic exchange, the brand expects to almost double the volume of sales, being about 60% of the mix represented by the CVT version. Currently sold in two finishes priced between R$ 61,990 and R $ 65,990, the expectation is that the automatic X60 costs around R$ 70,000.
