NextEV Hypercar (teaser)
Chinese startup NextEV has just released a new
teaser image of its upcoming all-electric hypercar. The model is pencilled in for a world debut
in London on November 21, and in a tweet revealing the latest teaser, the firm
says “History in the making. #BlueSkyComing”.
While it’s unclear what #BlueSkyComing refers to,
the first statement gives an indication of the company’s bold ambitions for the
car. According to reports, the hypercar is set to deliver around 1,360 hp from
its electric motors and will therefore be able to sprint to 100 km/h in well under 3 seconds. It has the potential to be among the world’s
most accelerative production vehicles.
This teaser reveals that the hypercar will include
an exceptionally low-slung front end with eye-catching LED headlights and large
air intakes to help cool the brakes. It is thought that the hypercar will be
produced in limited quantities in China and the U.S. and potentially other
markets in the future.
