Toyota Prius G racer
Toyota USA unveiled its Prius G at the
2016 SEMA Show. The recently unveiled Prius G is a customized model
based on the all-new Toyota Prius.
Inspired by the Prius GT300, which is
currently competing in the Super GT in Japan, the Prius G was jointly developed
by Toyota and Gordon Ting of Beyond Marketing.
The Prius G features Tein suspension, Brembo brakes,
and 18-inch RAYS wheels with Toyo R888 tires (265/35R18 on the front and
235/40R18 on the rear).
The interior is exactly that of a racing car,
equipped with a Sparco steering wheel, basket seats and 6-point seatbelts.
Toyota Motor Sales, USA said, “The Prius G recorded a maximum lateral
acceleration of 0.99G on a skid pad test. This is line with the best supercars
in the world.”
