VW Caddy Black Edition (UK)
The new Volkswagen Caddy Black Edition will join the
brand's UK lineup at the end of this month, with a starting price of £ 19,370 (US$ 24,257) on-the-road, without VAT.
Based on the Highline grade and available in just
500 units, the vehicle features a Deep Black pearl effect paint, black roof
rails, body-colored front and rear bumpers, side mirrors, and door handles,
front fog lights with cornering lights function, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Tthe limited edition model also
benefits from climate control, heated windscreen, cruise control, Driver Alert
System, DAB+ radio, leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, gearknob and
gaiter, and full carpeting.
A 27 mm lowered suspension contributes to
its updated stance and power comes from a 2.0-liter TDI engine, with 102 PS, which is Euro 6 compliant, mated with a five-speed manual
transmission.
The Caddy Black Edition features, just like the rest
of the family, the BlueMotion suite of technologies that adds Start/Stop, Hill
Hold Assist, regenerative braking, and low rolling resistance tires. The car
returns 60.1 mpg UK (4.7 lt/100 km) on average and emits 123 g/km
of CO2.
