2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia (USA)

Alfa Romeo has released U.S. pricing details for the Giulia, confirming that the model will go on sale from US$ 37,995.

You'll get the entry-level Giulia, installed with an aluminum 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder delivering 280 hp and 306 lb-ft of torque. Mated to this engine is an eight-speed automatic transmission which allows the model to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in a brisk 5.1 seconds. It will then continue to accelerate through to a 239 km/h top speed.

This model is rear-wheel drive, but FCA’s Q4 all-wheel drive system can be optioned for US$ 2,000. As standard, one will find leather seats, bi-xenon headlights, a reverse camera, rear parking sensors, remote start, 7-inch TFT color display and more. A Sport Exterior Package can also be added for US$ 1,250 and includes revised front and rear fascias, colored brake calipers, 18-inch wheels and gloss black window trim surround.

Next up in the range is the 2017 Giulia Ti, starting at US$ 39,995 excluding destination. It has the same engine and standard features as the base Giulia but adds touches like a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, 8-8-inch display, 18-inch wheels, SiriusXM and wooden interior accents. It can also be joined with the Ti Sport, Ti Lusso and Ti Performance packages, the first two of which cost US$ 2,250 and add new interior and exterior trimmings. Pricing for the Ti Performance Package hasn’t been released but it includes adaptive suspension, a mechanical limited slip differential and aluminium paddle shifters.

Last but not least, the Giulia Quadrifoglio. It has been priced from US$ 72,000 excluding destination and as we know, utilizes a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine delivering 503 hp that allows the model to sprint around the Nurburgring in just 7 minutes and 32 seconds.

U.S. sales of the Quadrifoglio will start this month, while the lesser variants will go on sale in January 2017.
