2017 Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS
The new Bajaj Pulsar’s have
started to arrive at dealerships. As promised by the company that they will
update the entire Pulsar line-up by the end of 2016. Here is the first time the new Pulsar 135 LS is being seen.
Available in a new colour scheme,
the Pulsar 135 facelift gets revised headlight cluster, new tank cowls, new
decals, black matte finish on the handle bar, engine and exhaust. It also gets
a revised taillight and a new single seat setup that replaces the old split
seat setup.
The 134.66 cc air-cooled
carbureted engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission to produce 13.56 PS at
9,000 rpm and 11.4 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The compact naked Pulsar is
suspended by a telescopic front fork and 5-step adjustable twin Nitrox charged
coil spring shocks.
Braking is courtesy of a 240 mm
front disc and 130 mm rear drum. The Pulsar 135 LS’ 17-inch alloy wheels come
shod with 2.75 – 17 front and 100/90 – 17 rear tyres (tubeless). Thanks to a
light kerb weight of 121 kg (LS in the name stands for Light Sports), the
motorcycle has a power-to-weight ratio that can match the 150 cc segment
standards.
