2017 Honda CR-V (USA)
Honda has announced pricing and trim levels for the revised CR-V, which
is scheduled to hit U.S. dealers on December 21.
The best-selling compact crossover will be available
in three grades, named LX, EX and Touring, with the base being powered by a
2.4-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder and the rest receiving the new 190
HP 1.5-liter turbo. Both units are available solely with a CVT transmission.
Base price for the LX is set at US$ 24,925, US$ 200 more
than the outgoing model, whereas the EX trim that’s expected to be the most
popular among buyers has been bumped up US$ 580, to US$ 27,575 and the top spec
Touring is also up by US$ 180, to US$ 33,275. As with the 2016 MY version, front-wheel
drive is standard and all-wheel drive a US$ 1,300 option.
From the EX trim level up, the 2017 CR-V comes with
the Honda Sensing safety suite that comprises adaptive cruise control,
pre-collision braking and lane-departure warning systems, as standard.
The new 1.5-liter turbo has been rated by the EPA at
28 mpg city and 34 mpg highway for the two-wheel drive versions, and one mpg
lower for the AWD.
