BMW M2 GTS by Evolve Automotive
There are reports that BMW could roll out a
beefed-up version of the M2 Coupe, but until it actually does, customers
wanting more will have to turn to tuners.
UK-based Evolve Automotive's take on the M2 bears
the 'GTS' moniker, though it has nothing to do with the same-name M4.
Iit sports a new body kit with lots of
carbon fiber pieces, such as the front splitter, rear diffuser, hood, roof and
adjustable rear wing. Evolve Automotive claim to have dropped a few kilograms
from the weight of the car that now sits closer to the road than the stock
model thanks to a modified suspension and wears a set of aftermarket rims.
The tuner has massaged the turbocharged 3.0-liter
inline-six to produce a healthy 401 HP and 610 Nm of torque by
tweaking the ECU, air intake and exhaust. That's a healthy increase over the
stock car's 365 HP and, actually, pretty much what we expect BMW's own M2 CS to
put out when it gets launched.
