Ford Fiesta Cabriolet (render)
It’s time
to start imagining how New Fiesta may look starting off with a Cabriolet
version. It’s worth noting that it is extremely unlikely Ford will
create a droptop variant of the new Fiesta.
As this rendering from artist X-Tomi Design shows,
the new design of the Fiesta actually works without a fixed roof and with only
two doors. If produced, it could act as a rival to the MINI Cooper Convertible,
allowing people to enter the world of cabriolets on a budget. However, the
market for such models is so minute that it probably isn’t even worth Ford
pondering.
Although it won’t see the light of day, Ford has
added a new variant to the 2017 Fiesta range, namely the Active soft-roader. It
has increased ground clearance, body cladding and roof bars and to our eyes,
looks the business.
