Renault Grand Scenic
Renault is
displaying the all-new Renault Grand Scenic at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show.
Introduced in May, the sales launch of the more spacious Scenic variant was
planned before the end of 2016.
The new generation Renault Grand Scenic measures
4.63 metres in length, 1.86 metres in width and 1.66 metres, and has a
wheelbase of 2.80 metres and a ground clearance of 160 mm. Compared to the new
generation Renault Scenic, it is 75 mm longer, 20 mm width and 15 mm taller,
and has a 35 mm longer wheelbase and a 30 mm higher ground clearance.
The all-new Renault Grand Scenic is available in 5-
and 7-seat versions. The front seats feature eight-way power adjustment and
massage and heating functions. The latter’s folding third row seats have a
design similar to those of the Renault Espace. Both versions get independently
sliding 60:40-split second row seats.
The updated Renault Grand Scenic is available
with Energy TCe 115 and Energy TCe 130 petrol engines and Energy dCi 110, dCi
110 Hybrid Assist, Energy dCi 110, Energy dCi 130 and Energy dCi 160 diesel
engines. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual, 6-speed EDC dual-clutch
automatic and 7-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic.
20-inch wheels, fixed panoramic glass roof,
full-colour head-up display, 8.7-inch R-LINK 2 infotainment system with
navigation, 13-speaker BOSE Surround Sound audio system, Easy Life folding
tables for rear passengers, Active Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection,
Lane Keeping Assist and fatigue detection warning are the highlights of the
all-new Renault Grand Scenic.
