PT Honda Prospect Motor Indonesia has dropped the first teaser of the 2017 Honda Mobilio (Facelift) on its social media channels, revealing a few of the changes in tow.

The facelift seems to be comprehensive. The teaser offers glimpses of the front-end, which drops the Brio-inspired design for a distinctive, upright face. The upper fascia is all new, featuring larger, swept-back headlamps with LED DRLs directly flanking a larger grille and a bold chrome bar. The three-part intake with fog lamps look largely similar to the outgoing Mobilio.

Also new are the 15-inch alloy wheels, as well as the Royal Blue-esque exterior color featured in the teaser. The rear-end is yet to be revealed, but expect Honda to introduce new taillamps, bumpers and applique. The interior is also yet to be revealed, but we reckon that it will retain the design seen in the current Mobilio, which underwent a minor facelift last January (for the Indonesian market).

Under the hood, the 2017 Honda Mobilio is more than likely to retain the 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 118 PS and 145 Nm of torque. It can be had with a 5-speed manual gearbox or an EarthDreams CVT.
