Early units of the Hyundai Creta facelift have started arriving at dealer showrooms across Brazil this week, including test drive units. The models available for sale are only the top-end 2.0 Pulse and 2.0 Prestige, while the entry-level Creta 1.6 Attitude and Pulse variants will start arriving mid-February.

In Brazil, the Hyundai Creta is available in six variants, priced between BRL 72,990 – BRL 99,490. Note that the model on sale Brazil is locally manufactured at HMB’s plant in Piracicaba, and is visually a bit different from the Hyundai Creta sold worldwide.

The Brazil-spec Creta features a large hexagonal grille, new bumper with a larger central intake, a pair of horizontal fog lamps and silver garnish, new cluster design for the taillamps, shark fin antenna, smaller reflectors and a bigger silver garnish on the rear bumper.

Engine lineup include a 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, or a 2.0-litre flex-fuel engine only fitted with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
