The 2017 Renault Symbol (rebadged Dacia Logan) has
been spied undisguised at a parking yard, courtesy of Ferd, revealing the
complete exterior changes as part of the mid-cycle refresh. The Renault Symbol
is sold in markets like the UAE, Turkey, Algeria, as well as in Brazil as the
Renault Logan.
The new Renault Symbol
and the outgoing model have been spied parked beside each other, offering a
closer look at what has changed.
The 2017 Renault Symbol has a slightly revised
grille with chrome garnish that runs into the headlamps, new C-shaped LED DRLs
in top variants, and a sportier 3-part intake which can come equipped with fog
lamps. While the side profile is largely identical to the outgoing model, the
rear-end gets revised taillamp graphics, re-positioned number plate area and a
new bumper.
It’s unclear if the same changes will be made to the
Brazil-spec Renault Logan as part of facelift, which is currently due for
introduction as the model currently available has been on sale since 2013.
