Bajaj Auto has finally re-launched
the new Pulsar 200 NS. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is now on sale across Bajaj
dealerships for a starting price of INR 96,453. Sadly, only one variant is on
offer, which is minus the ABS and FI. ABS is not even offered as option like
Bajaj offers on the Pulsar RS200 or the Dominar 400.
Bajaj has updated the new 200 NS thoroughly for international market.
In the international markets, not only the engine is a new 194.4 cc unit, but
it also comes with FI, unlike previously where it was offered only with
carburettor.
In Turkey, where the bike has already been launched,
2017 Bajaj Pulsar is powered by a 194.4 cc single cylinder liquid cooled
engine. This engine delivers 24.5 PS at 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8000
rpm, the same as before. Transmission is taken care by a 6 speed unit. Kerb
weight stays at 145 kgs. In India, the new Pulsar NS200 is powered by the same
199.5 cc engine which powers the AS200. This engine is good for 23 hp and 18.3
Nm of torque. The 17 inch alloys are shodded with MRF NyloGrip tyres while it
gets the new AHO (Always Headlamp On) feature.
Visually, the refreshed Pulsar 200 NS comes with new
styling kits, along with new dual-tone color schemes, and a relocated pulsar
logo. Positioned below the Pulsar RS 200. It will continue to be a cheaper
alternative to the KTM Duke 200.
