Ford has given the 2018 Mustang an all-new face and
the upcoming sports coupe looks absolutely gorgeous. Now, the notorious X-Tomi Design has
published a rendering giving us preview of the 2018 Mustang GT Convertible.
The rendering image looks like a real deal and we
hope the production car looks exactly like this. The
2018 Ford Mustang GT Convertible sports a similar front fascia to its coupe
sibling. A large Black front grille with the stallion logo at the centre, sleek
and sharp LED projector headlamps with triple slat LED daytime running lights.
The front bumper looks identical to the coupe
variant. Like the coupe, it may come with 10 different wheel options as we
would expect. The rendering shows the sportscar with Black alloy wheels. The
hood and the side profile also look identical with the sharp and sleek crease.
The rear fascia too is likely to come similar. The only significant
difference visible in the convertible is the retractable hood. Its expected to come lightweight compared to the coupe variant. Interior of the
2018 Ford Mustang GT Convertible gets the same equipment like its sibling as
well.
Power source for the 2018 Ford Mustang GT
Convertible is the same powerful 5.0-litre V8 engine under the hood. The engine
is mated to a new 10-speed automatic transmission that offers swifter and
quicker gear shifting and even smoother acceleration. The
3.7-litre V6 engine will be no more available with the Mustang.
