The Mahindra Thar seen in the images is not customised for an individual. DC Design has created a new package which it could offer to customers at large.

Beginning with the customised version’s face, DC Design has fitted a bespoke bumper and bull bar, as well as what looks like LED daytime running lights in place of the turn signals. The designers have painted the right-side ORVM with the body colour. The front fenders are also modified.

The most appealing part of the package are the glass panels behind the doors and at the rear, which have a sort of wraparound treatment. At the rear, the customised Mahindra Thar gets a new bumper, C-shaped taillights, redesigned tailgate and high-mount stop lamp. The custom roof further adds to the rugged appeal.

The customised Mahindra Thar by DC Design seems to have wider tyres and bespoke wheels. The SUV is available with two engines: NEF TCI- CRDe 2.5-litre diesel engine that produces 105 bhp at 3,800 rpm and 247 Nm of torque between 1,800 rpm and 2,000 rpm and the M2DICR 2.5-litre diesel engine that develops 63 bhp at 3,200 rpm and 195 Nm of torque between 1,400 rpm and 2,200 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard.
