At the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show, MG displayed the Fastback version of the new MG6. 

The MG6 Fastback, is a sloping-roof version of the conventionally-styled MG6 sedan. It measures 4,653 mm in length, 1,827 mm in width and 1,467 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm and a ground clearance of 118 mm. MG6 Fastback customers get to choose from five different configurations.


Projector headlamps with auto on/off function, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, 6-way adjustable front seats, paddle shifters, cruise control, electric parking brake, rear parking sensors, dual-front airbags, ABS, EBD, EBA, SCS, MSR, CBC, TCS, HAS, ITPMS and DWTC (Dynamic Wheel Torque Control) are standard. 

Daytime running lights, projector xenon headlamps with auto on/off and auto leveler, electric sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control system, 6-way power adjustable front seats, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, reverse parking camera and auto hold are available on higher-end trim levels.


The MG6 Fastback sports the 18K4G 1.8-litre Turbo TCI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 161 PS at 5,500 rpm and 215 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The MG6 Fastback starts at 908,000 baht.
