The next police car you see in your rear-view mirror
in Sydney might be the new-generation Mini Clubman. You won’t need to worry. Like most unorthodox Police-liveried cars, this one is purely for
promotional duty.
Based at the Newtown Police Station, the car has
been fully wrapped in police graphics and was officially handed over at MINI
Garage Sydney in Alexandria.
Being the second police car to come out of the
dealership, with the BMW i8 delivered to Rose Bay Local Area Command last year,
Simon Macedone, Dealer Principal of Mini Garage Sydney, believes the fun-sized
Clubman will be perfect for the narrow streets of Newtown.
The newly added member to the police squad will be
at no cost to the taxpayer while it is on loan by Mini Garage Sydney.
