The automotive segredeiro Diogo Dias caught the new
Volkswagen 328 truck. The model is known as Project Phevos and will be equipped
with Cummins ISF 3.8 engine. The 328 will make its debut in 2017.
One of the highlights of the
Phevos Project (VW 328) is the integrated diesel tank with Arla to save space
on the chassis. The truck will have versions from 4 tons up to 11 tons. The
project started in Germany and it was up to the engineers of the brand in
Brazil to finish its development. The 328 will be manufactured in Germany,
China and Brazil for worldwide marketing.
The cabin is a replica of the
Constellation in smaller scale, The interior of the 328 will have many elements
that refer to the models of tour of the Volkswagen. The instrument panel is
very reminiscent of the Amarok pickup. The 328 will be equipped with the
Cummins ISF 3.8 engine that will work in conjunction with the ZF gearbox.
