Ford has released performance specifications for the 2018 Expedition and F-150. Starting with the F-150, the truck comes standard with an all-new 3.3-liter V6 engine which features direct injection. The engine replaces the previous 3.5-liter V6 and it produces 290 hp and 358 Nm of torque - an increase of 8 hp and 16 Nm, according to Trucks.com.

Buyers looking for something more powerful can opt for the second-generation 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine which has dual port direct injection. Thanks to this change, it produces 325 hp and 541 Nm of torque.

The 5.0-liter V8 hasn't been left out on the fun as it has direct injection and spray-in bore liners from the Mustang Shelby GT350. Power climbs to 395 hp and 541 Nm of torque, which is a modest increase of 10 hp and 17 Nm. Ford declined to release performance figures for the new 3.0-liter Power Stroke diesel engine but the automaker confirmed it will available next spring. A majority of the engines will be connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and all engines will come standard with an automatic start/stop system.

The Expedition will be powered exclusively by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that is connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 375 hp and 636 Nm of torque, while the Expedition Platinum has an upgraded variant with 400 hp and 650 Nm of torque.
