Mercedes-Benz has completed the new generation
E-Class family by launching the Cabriolet in Germany. The new E-Class Cabriolet
can be had from € 54,228.30 (US$ 60,641) for the base E200, which is powered by a
2.0-liter gasoline engine that makes 184 PS and 300 Nm of
torque.
Arriving in showrooms this September, the new
E-Class Cabriolet will be offered in E300, E400 4Matic, E220d and E350d 4Matic
versions.
Some of the technical highlights of the new
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet include the Widescreen Cockpit, a wide range of
assistance systems, smartphone integration with wireless charging and key
function, Air Body Control air suspension, and more.
Customers can choose between dark brown, dark blue,
red, or black finishes for the automatic acoustic fabric soft top, and they can
also have the AirCap electric draught-stop system and the AirScarf neck-level
heating system from the options list.
Celebrating the start of the E-Class Cabriolet's
journey 25 years ago is the 25th Anniversary Edition. The special edition can
be had in rubellite red or iridium silver, combined with a dark red acoustic
fabric soft top, and a set of standard 20-inch light alloy wheels.
On-board features include the Designo Nappa leather
with diamond quilting in macchiato beige seats, Magic Vision Control, AirScarf,
AirCap and others, all of them available at no extra cost. The '25th
Anniversary badges on the wings and center console identify this model further
more.
Depending on the selected flavor, the special
edition adds a € 11,305 (US$ 12,642) or € 12,138 (US$ 13,573) premium on top of the
price of the new E-Class Cabriolet in Germany.
