The Taiwanese Sym presented Symphony 125 ST, which is positioned as a
high-end alternative to the model SR 125. Despite a complete redesign of
aesthetics and equipment, the two scooters share a number of common, starting
with their big wheels of 16". Unlike its predecessor, the ST is however not
available in 50 cc
version.
The
Symphony 125 ST has been redesigned in many areas. Of particular note is the
seat height, which becomes more accessible by losing 8 mm (792 mm). Or the fuel
tank, which gains 2 Litres to offer significant capacity of 7.5 liters. The
scooter is even the luxury to lose 5 mm in length for optimal maneuverability
in urban environments.
The
same 4-stroke air cooled, Sym pushed to its limits to provide an attractive 7.3
kW at 7500 rpm, against 6.5 kW from SR. A significant
power gain for double or circulate serenely duo, even if the ultimate power
still remains very far from what the GT scooters offer.
To seduce the discerning city dwellers, Sym
Symphony ST has expanded its many practical accessories. Large wheels can
especially count on a USB charging socket, a lock breaker under the seat,
folding footrest, dual digital meter, a remote seat opening, a large lockable
glovebox or LED taillight.
ST label, that combines Sym "Style and Technology", and it makes sense. This scooter is available
in the Sym dealer network in white and black, but also in an unpublished bronze
full of charms. As for prices, the scooter 125 sold at € 2,299, or €
450 more than the model SR 125.
