The 2018 Toyota Yaris (XB150) features extensive body changes. Up front, the facelift brings Toyota Corolla-inspired headlamps and upper grille, V-shaped lower grille, remodelled bumper and repositioned fog lamps. At the sides, the 2018 Yaris will have new design alloy wheels. At the rear, large horizontal tail lamps, redesigned tailgate and restyled bumper are seen. Lastly, a shark-fin antenna on the roof makes the rear sportier.

The 2018 Toyota Vios will get its power from the same engine as the current model in Thailand – 1.2L Dual-VVT-i. The four-cylinder petrol engine produces 86 PS and 108 Nm of torque and is linked to a continuously variable transmission. Other engine options available elsewhere, like the 1.3- and 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder petrol engines, may continue.

The 2018 Toyota Yaris could hit the Thai market in late-2017 or early 2018. Its launch in Malaysia, China and other markets should could be scheduled in early 2018. Prior to its launch, the 2017 Toyota Yaris Sedan will arrive at dealers.
