Stay Tuned India has uploaded images of a Hyundai
Creta diesel with an all black exterior for that stealthy look. It also has a
few exterior enhancements that should help make it stand out.
The Creta has 17-inch gloss black rims six spoke
rims, 235/55/17 Maxxis All terrain tires, Thule transverse roof bars & box,
Lightforce Auxiliary fog lamps, tinted LED-powered tail lamps, LED strips
beside the fog lamps, and a towing handle. The exterior is finished in a gloss
black colour with a minimal amount of chrome. It’s unclear if any changes have
been made under the hood or inside.
Since launch, the Creta is sold with two diesel
engines and one petrol motor. The Creta petrol is powered by the 123 PS
1.6-litre Dual VTVT engine available with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT. The
diesel engines are the 90 PS 1.4-litre U2 CRDi engine that is paired with a
6-speed MT and the 128 PS 1.6-litre VGT CRDi engine also available with a
6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
Post the implementation of GST on July 1, Hyundai
has revised the prices of the Creta. The range-topping Creta SX+ 1.6 L Diesel
AT variant costs INR 64,000 less, while the starting price of the Hyundai Creta
has also come down by around INR 37,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
