Apollo Automobili has released a slew of new teaser
images showing its upcoming IE hypercar. We got our first glimpse of the IE
last week courtesy of a very dark and very mysterious teaser. Now, the company
that superseded Gumpert has shown off some of the key carbon fiber details of
the hypercar, including its front splitter, rear diffuser and some other
components.
Not many other details about the IE are known at
this early stage, but sources seem to indicate it will be the road-going version
of the Arrow concept introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, albeit with
an overhauled design and new powertrain.
That new powertrain will be headlined by a
naturally-aspirated V12 engine in place of the 1,000 hp, 4.0-liter biturbo V8
of the original Arrow. Expect to hear more about the latest Apollo in the
coming weeks and months.
