The Bangkok International Auto Salon is the biggest
aftermarket parts exhibition in the ASEAN region. The 2017 edition featured a
whole host of custom Swifts, and we pick out the most tastefully modded
examples.
The yellow Swift is the work of JK Motorsport. It
seems to have been lowered and is fitted with low profile rims. The custom
Suzuki Swift features a mesh grille and a new bumper with a front splitter
finished in black. There is also a carbon fibre hood in place and roof-mounted
rear spoiler. Based on the headlamp design, it seems to be based on the Suzuki
Swift Sport variant.
Other notable examples include a blue and neon green
liveried Swift with ‘Indy RS’ decals. It features black rims matching the
overall paint scheme. The paint job is quite similar to the 2017 Suzuki Swift
Racer RS that was showcased at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon in January.
Compared to the Maruti Swift sold here in India, it
gets aftermarket headlamps with black inserts and LED DRLs among other
modifications. The one seen in black with red highlights (check gallery) seems
to be the tamest mod job of the lot with the only additions being black and red
rims, side skirts, decals and a rear spoiler. Unlike the rest of the, this one
seems stock in terms of ride height.
