DC Design has unveiled a new GWAGON lounge package
for the Toyota Fortuner, similar to Lounge packages offered for the Toyota
Innova Crysta.
As with any of DC’s lounge package for full-size
vehicles, the seats of second and third row are stripped for a comfy pair of
captain seats with power foldout footrest, and wrapped in leather with diamond
patterns. It also has a comprehensive console between the driver and rear
cabins which can be optionally leather wrapped.
The console integrates power foldout tables, a 7L
drinks chiller, a pair of 10 inch entertainment screens operated through an AV
touchscreen, while an iPad mini can be equipped optionally. Finally, the door
inserts have wood accent orientation.
There are no mechanical
updates. The Fortuner can be had with one of two engine options: a 166
PS 2.7-litre petrol and 177 PS 2.8-litre diesel engine, which are
available with a 6-speed manual or automatic. A 4×4 system is only available in
the top-end 2.8 version. The more fuel efficient diesel variant is capable of
averaging a fuel mileage of 12 km/L (manual) and 11 km/L (automatic).
