Yamaha Indonesia has introduced a special edition
MotoGP replica Yamaha R15 v3.0 Movistar. The bike gains new decals on the side
fairing, headlamp cowl and front fender. The fuel tank and tail section are now
blue in colour. Mechanically, the bike is unchanged.
The Yamaha R15 v3.0 Movistar livery harnesses power
from the existing 155.1 cc liquid-cooled, fuel injected, SOHC, VVA (Variable
Valve Actuation) mill. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the engine is capable of
producing 19.31 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at
8,500 rpm.
The bike gets several premium features like LED
headlamps, slipper clutch, deltabox frame, aluminium swingarm and upside down
fork. The faired motorcycle gets a 100/80-17 tyre up front and 140/70-17
section unit in the rear. Other features include a larger 282 mm front disc and
hazard lamps, all digital instrumentation and a shift timing indicator.
The bike tips the scales at 137 and has an 11-litre
fuel tank, 155 mm ground clearance and 815 mm seat height. It measures 1,990 mm
in length, 725 mm in width and 1,135 mm in height. The motorcycle has a
wheelbase of 1,325 mm.
The Yamaha R15 v3.0 Movistar livery has a price tag
of IDR 35,100,000 (OTR, Jakarta). This makes it IDR 600,000 more expensive than
the standard variant.
