G-Power's latest creation builds upon a 7-Series, and
more specifically a 750d. Now the stock version isn’t exactly slow to start
with, as its 3.0-liter straight-six diesel engine makes 400 PS and 760 Nm of torque that allow it to reach 100 km/h from a standstill
in 4.6 seconds.
However, when equipped with the tuner's D-Tronic 5
performance module, the output rises to 460 PS and 860 Nm of
torque. With the extra muscle, the Bavarian company's flagship saloon needs
just 4.3 seconds to cover the naught to 100 km/h sprint, which is very
impressive for a car of its size and matches a manual gearbox-equipped M3.
G-Power says that the module engages automatically
when the engine oil reaches the optimum temperature, and disengages when the
limit of coolant temperature is reached. Moreover, it only comes on when full
power is demanded, so driving under normal conditions will keep it shut down,
as the vehicle runs on its factory ECU.
To differentiate its tuned 750d from the stock one,
the company has enhanced its appearance by adding the 21-inch double five-spoke
forged alloy wheels, which are made from aircraft-grade aluminum and can be
ordered in Jet Black, Gun Metal Grey, Stardust Silver and Diamond-cut finish.
