This is the Luxgen U5, a new compact #crossover for China, looking nice but a bit over-designed. It just has two many 'thingies'
all over the place, note for example the fake air vents behind the front
wheels.
The Luxgen U5 will be launched on the Chinese car
market in Q4 for about US$ 15,000. Power comes from a 1.6 liter four-cylinder
petrol engine with 124 hp and 153 Nm, mated to a CVT, sending horses to the
front wheels. Dimension size is 4395/1763/1594 mm, and wheelbase is 2620 mm.
Luxgen is a brand from the Taiwanese Yulon Group.
Luxgen cars are made in Taiwan by Yulon, and in China by the Dongfeng-Yulon
joint venture.
