The new Force Trax Cruiser Deluxe was showcased at
the Prawaas 2017 auto show last month. Aimed mainly at small towns and rural
areas, the rugged UV from Force Motors can be had in multiple seating
configurations.
The nose of the Force Trax features black plastic
cladding that houses the circular headlamps and turn indicators along with a
reflective white element placed under the headlamps to mimic LED DRLs. The side
profile reveals heavy plastic cladding around the wheel arches and body
graphics along with ‘Cruiser Deluxe’ badging. At the back, there are the
utilitarian looking bumper mounted tail lamps and a wheel cover. The show car
also features a thick metal bull bar with white and yellow reflective film.
The cabin of the new Force Trax Cruiser Deluxe
offers three seating configurations – 9+D, 12+D and 13+D. It is finished in a
combination of black and beige and features two front facing rows followed by
jump seats. There is a very basic instrument console on offer with a
speedometer, fuel gauge and temperature gauge. Force offers the Trax Cruiser
Deluxe with air conditioning vents for the second row as well, power steering
and magazine and bottle holders behind the first row seat.
Under the hood, there is a BS IV compliant 2,596
cc FM 2.6 CR diesel engine that make 85 hp @ 3,200 rpm and 230 Nm @ 1,400-2,400
rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox handles transmission duties. The UV is equipped
with ABS with EBD, however, there are no airbags on offer.
