Mumbai-based motorcycle customizer, Lazybone
Motorcycles, have come up with a vintage Brat Bob version of the Royal Enfield
Thunderbird 350, called the ‘Lynx’.
The custom house has stripped down the fenders and
other unnecessary parts. The bike gets vintage style tyres with white walls.
For lower height, the folks have included an extended swingarm, which is three
inches more than the stock unit. The bike uses stock suspension, with telescopic
forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear. The rear indicators are
uniquely mounted on the axle, and the front ones are at the lower portion of
the downtube.
The creators of this bike have retained the 350 cc
AVL engine to preserve its character. The bike gets a Megaphone exhaust with
removable glass-wool. The peanut fuel tank can hold 7.5 litres of gasoline and
is hand-made. The aesthetically matching seat is hand-made as well.
The chrome motif on the fuel tank comes from an
Ambassador. The bike gets a single-piece handlebar and a custom round
headlight. The twin pod instrument cluster is deleted to give an unadulterated
riding experience. The rear end gets an offset tail light with a number plate
holder. Brakes include a disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The name ‘Lynx’ originates from a species of wild
cat.
