Honda has given the Honda Step WGN Spada a facelift.
The 2018 Honda Step WGN is now on sale in the country’s home market of Japan.
The 2018 Honda Step WGN Spada features newly-adopted
LED headlights, a three-tier front grille that flows into the headlights in the
signature fashion, a sharper front bumper and revised lower grille. At the
rear, Honda has modified the tailgate spoiler for improved aerodynamics. The
new Step WGN Spada is 4,760 mm long, 1,695 mm wide and 1,840 mm (FWD)/1,855 mm
(4WD) tall.
The Honda Step WGN Spada is now available in a
hybrid variant. The Step WGN Spada Hybrid’s powertrain consists of a 2.0-litre
i-VTEC petrol engine and an i-MMD electric motor. The 2.0-litre i-VTEC petrol
engine produces 145 PS at 6,200 rpm and 175 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The
electric motor generates 184 PS from 5,000-6,000 rpm and 315 Nm of torque from
0-2,000 rpm. The two-motor hybrid system returns a fuel economy of 25 km/l
(JC08 mode). The L15B 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo engine (150 PS/203 Nm) continues as
before.
Honda SENSING is now standard across the Honda Step
WGN range. All configurations now have its eight basic functions, listed below:

Honda Step WGN Spada hybrid features Adaptive Cruise
Control with Low-Speed Follow, meaning that the driver can now set the desired
interval from the car ahead while using cruise control in light traffic.
