A cloned version of the Yamaha M-Slaz has been spotted in Vietnam. The bike is called the MX-Slaz 125 and employs a smaller engine than the original version.

Yamaha sells the M-Slaz as the Yamaha TFX 150 in Vietnam. The bike retails at VND 82.9 million (INR 2.38 lakhs) and comes with a 149.7 cc single cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It makes 15.4 PS of power and 13.8 Nm of torque. However, its clone, the MX-Slaz seem to have smaller dimensions than the original bike, and also comes with a smaller 125cc single-cylinder engine. The powerplant seems to be from a brand called ‘Raptor’, going by the logo on the engine case. The bike is allegedly a Chinese imitation, and the output figures are unknown. Expect the engine to make around 10 PS.

The motorcycle features red clip-on handlebar with adjustable brake and clutch levers, also in red colour. The bike comes with tank extensions and engine fairing as well. Suspension bits include inverted front fork with gold finish and a rear monoshock. Brakes include disc on both ends with red callipers. The alloy wheels feature red accents as well. The exhaust is stubby, and the rear wheel gets a tyre-hugger.

The bike costs USD 1,000 (INR 65,345), which is INR 1.72 lakhs cheaper than the real deal.
