Developing their largest and most luxurious SUV yet,
the X7, isn’t apparently enough for BMW, as they could go above and beyond,
with a possible X8.
We're taking the report published by AutoExpress
with a grain of salt, though, as they're quoting an unnamed insider within the
company, who said that a BMW X8 is "under serious consideration".
Nothing is known about it so far, but the Bavarian
automaker has a few choices to make - follow the X2, X4, and X6 with the X8,
which might become a sportier and less practical take of the X7, extend the
latter's wheelbase for additional rear legroom, or even use the architecture of
the upcoming Rolls-Royce Cullinan to create it.
No timeline has been provided for the rumored X8,
which, if it is indeed coming, then it will carry the brand's new black and
white logo that reads 'Bayerische Motoren Werke', which is German for 'Bavarian
Motor Work'. The same logo will be applied to BMW's most exclusive models, and
likely candidates are the 7-Series, 8-Series, and X7.
