For a car that packs plenty of bangs and crackles
without any sort of modifications, you'd think that the Mercedes-AMG GT might
escape tuner's attentions. It hasn't, of course, with Akrapovic doing its part with
the development of a custom exhaust.
Akrapovic made sure to improve on the AMG GT's
already impressive exhaust note, without making it absurdly loud. You can check

In regards to performance, this lightweight exhaust
system adds an extra 13 HP to your AMG GT or GT S, as well as another
36.2 Nm of torque, while cutting weight by 12.2 kg.
There's also no need to remap the car's ECU or add any other parts thanks to
the product being ECE type approved. In a way, it's as simple as plug and play,
although installation takes around 6 hours.
Once installed, you can use the exhaust button or
the Akrapovic key fob to switch between sound modes, thus enjoying complete
control over your car's exhaust note.
