Bollinger Motors has teased the four-door version of
its B1 off-road utility truck with an official sketch. The boxy shape reminds
us of the classic Land Rover Defender, portraying a tough off-road character
but with the added merits of an all-electric powertrain.
The longer version of the “world’s first
all-electric sport utility truck” brings the overall length of the vehicle to 4 meters, with the wheelbase measuring 2.9 meters.
Ground clearance remains the same with the three-door version at 400 mm, as well as the approach and departures angles (56 degrees and 53
degrees respectively). The new breakover angle is 31 degrees.
The four-door version of the Bollinger B1 will come
with the same battery options as well: Entry-level models will get a 60kWh
pack, with a bigger 100kWh option available. Driving range for the shorter
three-door version ranges between 120 and 200 miles. Power is set at 360 hp
while torque is 472 lb-ft.
The EV startup is currently engineering the B1
for production, with future announcements to come.
