Datsun India has launched the Datsun redi-GO Gold
1.0L in the country at a price of INR 3,69,737 (ex-showroom Delhi). The limited
edition model is available on the T (O) trim level. Datsun claims the limited
edition car comes with 12 new features.
The exterior features gold-inspired paintwork, black
front grille with golden accent, wheel cover with golden accent and rear
parking sensor. The vehicle comes in three colour options- Silver, Grey and
White.
On the inside, the redi-GO Gold comes with
gold-themed interiors; ambient mood lighting which can be controlled via a
smartphone app, and a new audio system with Bluetooth. Keyless entry is
standard as well.
The Datsun redi-GO Gold is mechanically the same
vehicle. The car measures 3,429 mm in length, 1,560 mm in width, and 1,541 mm
in height. The hatchback gets a wheelbase of 2,348 mm and a boot space of 222
litres. The ground clearance is at 185 mm.
Powering the redi-GO Gold is a 999 cc three-cylinder
I-SAT petrol engine with 5-speed manual transmission. The powerplant puts out
68 PS of power at 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. The ARAI-rated
fuel efficiency stands at 22.5 km/l. Bookings for the limited edition hatchback
are open. The redi-GO Gold is INR 2,501 cheaper than the S-1.0L variant.
