A stunning example of one of Ferrari’s most prized
vehicles, the 599 SA Aperta, is currently for sale on James Edition in
Marbella, Spain and we can’t think of a better supercar for the beautiful
Spanish coastline.
The SA Aperta was capped to just 80 units worldwide
and it remains the Italian marque’s most extreme front-engine droptop ever.
Many often confuse the SA Aperta as simply a convertible version of the 599 GTB
but in actual fact, it is essentially a 599 GTO with the roof chopped off and
fitted with some bespoke body panels.
This particular example has been imported to Spain
from Qatar and is painted in Rosso Corsa. It also features numerous carbon
fiber accents, including the door handles and Cavallino Shield on both front
quarter panels.
Inside, the cabin, steering wheel, door panels and dashboard are almost exclusively bathed in red leather. In fact, the only
elements of the interior that aren’t red are either carbon fiber, metal or
plastic.
The car currently has an asking price of 1.125
million euros (US$ 1.34 million) which is quite reasonable considering it only has
3,107 miles (5,000 km) on the clock.
