A few months after significantly updating the 500L,
Fiat has introduced a new version to complement the lineup dubbed the City
Cross. It can already be had in selected
European markets, where customers can choose between nine colors, including the
new Sicilia Orange paintwork, which come in contrast with the black roof.
Key exterior elements are the special bumper with
skid plate, tweaked grille, black accents, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a 25 mm raised ride, all of which should "meet the expectations of
customers looking for an urban crossover", in Fiat's words.
Inside, the new Fiat 500L City Cross gets black or
white trims and black fabric seats with the '500' logo on the backrests.
These are backed up by the standard equipment that
includes 3.5-inch TFT color display, multifunction leather-wrapped steering
wheel, Uconnect HD Live infotainment with touchscreen display, voice control,
and Bluetooth, manual climate control, and cruise control, among others.
Additionally, customers can also have the optional UCOnnect HD Live with a
7-inch touchscreen that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone
connectivity.
Fiat offers the 500L City Cross with a choice of
three petrol engines - the 1.4 95 PS, 0.9 105 PS and 1.4 120 PS, alongside the petrol and LPG 1.4 120 PS, and two diesels - 1.3
95 PS and 1.6 120 PS.
