PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), the authorised
distributor of Honda two-wheelers in Indonesia has launched the new Honda Revo
X and Honda Revo Fit in the country.
The new Honda Revo X features redesigned front apron
for better aerodynamics and aesthetics. The Revo X and the Honda Revo Fit come
with newly designed stripe stickers and instrument cluster dials. With 5.2
million customers, the Revo series is the best selling model from Honda in the
country.
The Honda Revo X and Honda Revo Fit share a 109.17
cc single cylinder SOHC engine with fuel injection. It produces 8.91 PS of
power at 7,500 rpm and 8.76 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine works in
tandem with a 4-speed transmission.
The two bikes employ telescopic front fork and twin
rear shock absorbers. Brakes include disc at the front and drum at the rear.
The Revo X comes with alloy wheels, while the Revo Fit gets spoke wheels. For
better security, the bikes feature Auto Secure Key Shutter. It uses an
automatic magnetic locking system which reduces the risk of theft. As per ECE
tests, the claimed mileage stands at an impressive 59.8 km/l.
New Honda Revo X IDR 15,325,000 OTR, Jakarta. It
comes in two colour choices- Cosmic White and Quantum Black. The New Honda Revo
Fit comes at the cost of IDR 13,625,000, OTR Jakarta. There are three colour
choices to choose from- Neo Green, Raving Red and Galaxy Blue. Honda has
targeted to sell as many as 160,000 units of these bikes per year.
