Rajputana Customs, a popular custom bike builder has
built a unique vintage custom called ‘Project BA’, with a base bike that
appears to be the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350.
The level of attention-to-detail on this motorcycle
is incredibly staggering. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 has undergone a
complete overhaul, with a custom frame and a hard-tail rear for that vintage
ethos. The front end features equally classic girder type suspension. The
custom round headlamp nestles between the front springs, and the bike has done
away with an instrument cluster.
The motorcycle features fat vintage style tyres on
both ends. They are shod on black spoke wheels with custom hubs. The motorcycle
uses drum brakes on both ends. The maroon bodywork is minimalistic, with only
the fuel tank and a toolbox. The frame and suspension are black. The gold
accents on the motorcycle are beautifully done and adds vintage steampunk charm
to the bike.
The single custom seat sits on springs, and the
handlebar is custom as well. The levers are hinged on the bar-ends. Another
unique feature is the custom RCM Clarity Clutch Cover, and the uniquely
designed carburettor air intake. The custom exhaust comes with heat wrap in a
gold finish, and the footpegs are custom as well. The custom house has mounted
the tail light on the rear axle, next to the wheel. On the other side of the
wheel is the licence plate.
